Migrate Existing S3 Data to HubforHost

Migrations are scoped first: source platform, supported operations, data volume, validation method and cutover plan. Transfer time depends on source, network and workload.

πŸ“‹ Prerequisites

  • Source bucket inventory with total volume and object count
  • Read access to the source and a HubforHost tier sized for data plus headroom

Step-by-Step Instructions

1

Submit tier, region and workload

Include source platform and volume in the requirement so the target tier and allowance can be confirmed.

2

Complete payment, then transfer

After payment confirmation and provisioning, transfer with rclone or SDK copy jobs and verify object counts and checksums.

3

Validate before cutover

Test application reads, policies and media delivery against the new endpoint before switching production traffic.

πŸ“Œ Important Notes

  • The process is designed to minimize disruption; transfer time and availability depend on the source provider, network and workload.
