Object-Lock Assessment
Object Lock can strengthen a backup design when the selected service configuration supports it. Availability and retention settings are confirmed during provisioning; no control provides absolute immunity from ransomware.
S3-Compatible API
Connect through an S3-compatible endpoint with common S3-compatible tools, SDKs and workflows, including HTTPS, CORS, pre-signed URLs and HTTP Range requests. Test application-specific operations and policies before production cutover because not every AWS S3 feature or policy expression is supported.
Included Transfer & API Requests
Outbound egress is included 1:1 with storage capacity — 1 TB storage includes up to 1 TB/month outbound transfer, scaled per tier. There is no separate per-GB egress charge within the included allowance. Common API requests are included. If the included outbound transfer allowance is exceeded, service may be temporarily suspended until the next billing cycle or the customer may upgrade to a higher tier, subject to the current order terms.
Encryption Controls
Server-side encryption protects stored objects, while HTTPS protects supported client connections in transit. Confirm any workload-specific key-management requirements during provisioning.
Indian Data Residency
Mumbai and Indore endpoints provide Indian-region object storage with 3x replication for redundancy and resilience. Indian-region hosting can support data-residency and data-governance requirements. How does the concierge assisted provisioning process work?

What is the subscription lifecycle, and what happens to my data if renewal payment is delayed?
Every subscription operates on a 30-day prepaid cycle. Current upstream terms document a 3-day post-expiry grace period followed by suspended access and retention for up to 60 days. Renewal during retention may include a daily pro-rata charge. Because lifecycle terms can change, the order confirmation and current service terms control.
Are there really no egress fees or API request charges?
Outbound egress is included 1:1 with storage capacity: 1 TB storage includes up to 1 TB/month outbound transfer, 5 TB includes up to 5 TB/month, 10 TB includes up to 10 TB/month, and 25 TB includes up to 25 TB/month. There is no separate per-GB egress charge within the included allowance. Common API requests are included. If the included outbound transfer allowance is exceeded, service may be temporarily suspended until the next billing cycle or the customer may upgrade to a higher tier, subject to the current order terms.
Can I use my existing AWS S3 tools and scripts?
The platform exposes an S3-compatible endpoint for common clients and SDKs. Compatibility is not identical to every AWS S3 feature: for example, the provider documents limitations in its supported bucket-policy language. Test required operations and policies before production cutover.
Where is my data physically stored?
The selected storage endpoints are in Mumbai or Indore, India. The provider documents Tier IV certification for Mumbai and TIA-942 and ISO certifications for Indore. Indian hosting supports a data-residency strategy, but it does not by itself guarantee compliance for a customer’s workload.
How does WORM Object Lock defend against ransomware?
Where Object Lock is available and correctly configured, retention controls can reduce the risk of deletion or overwrite. Availability must be confirmed during provisioning, and customers should still use independent backups, least-privilege access, credential isolation, monitoring, and regular restore tests.

Migration assistance is available. We scope the source, supported operations, data volume, validation method, and cutover plan first. The process is designed to minimize disruption, but transfer time and application availability depend on the source provider, network, and workload.
