This page is the canonical refund and cancellation policy for HubforHost services. Read it before paying for or renewing a service.
1. Service-specific eligibility
| Service | Refund position |
|---|---|
| HH-Personal managed cloud hosting | The initial eligible order has a three-day money-back window, subject to the exclusions and deductions below. Renewals are non-refundable. |
| HH-Agency managed cloud hosting | Non-refundable. |
| cPanel dedicated-resource server | Non-refundable. |
| VM Server | Non-refundable, including unused prepaid time and cancellation, downgrade, suspension, or deprovisioning. |
| S3-compatible object storage | Non-refundable, including unused capacity, unused prepaid time, cancellation, suspension, downgrade, or account closure. An upgrade balance adjustment or credit reduces the written upgrade amount payable; it is not a cash refund. |
| Domains | Non-refundable after registration, renewal, transfer, restoration, or another registry request has been submitted or completed. |
| SSL certificates | Non-refundable after issuance. |
| Email, security, backup, VPN, licences, and third-party tools | Non-refundable after ordering, activation, or the third-party fee is incurred. |
| Custom software and application development | Discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and delivered milestone payments are non-refundable. |
| Setup, migration, management, support, gateway, and one-time charges | Non-refundable after the work or cost is incurred. |
2. HH-Personal money-back window
An eligible first purchase of HH-Personal managed cloud hosting may be cancelled within three calendar days of activation. The refund excludes domain registration, transfer, renewal or restoration charges; issued SSL certificates; setup and migration work; payment-gateway costs; third-party fees; and other costs already incurred. Renewals, upgrades, HH-Agency, servers, storage, and accounts suspended for a policy violation are not eligible.
3. Exceptions that may still apply
HubforHost may refund a service it cannot provision before activation or correct a duplicate or demonstrably incorrect charge. Nothing in this policy excludes a customer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived. These exceptions do not create a general trial period for VM Server, S3 object storage, or another non-refundable service.
4. How to cancel
Email hello@hubforhost.com at least 30 days before renewal. Include the account holder's name, service, domain or service identifier, and whether cancellation is requested immediately or at the end of the paid term. HubforHost may verify account authority before acting.
Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not create a pro-rata refund, wallet credit, or transfer of unused prepaid time. Fees already incurred remain payable.
5. Data export and deletion
Customers must export and verify all required files, databases, email, objects, VM images, configurations, and backups before cancellation, suspension, or deprovisioning. Service access and provider-held data may be permanently removed after termination. HubforHost does not promise that a recoverable copy will remain after termination.
6. Violations, fraud, and non-payment
Suspension or termination for an Acceptable Use Policy violation, illegal activity, fraud, chargeback abuse, security risk, or non-payment does not qualify for a refund. HubforHost may retain or recover reasonable fees, third-party costs, and unpaid charges to the extent permitted by law.
7. Approved refund processing
Where a refund is approved, HubforHost will initiate it within 21 working days after approval, normally to the original payment method. Banks and payment providers may require additional processing time. If the original method cannot receive the refund, HubforHost will arrange an appropriate lawful alternative.
