How to Restore cPanel Backup (Home Directory, Databases, & Emails)
cPanel allows account holders to restore specific portions of their websites independently without overwriting the entire account. You can restore your public_html files, MySQL databases, and email forwarders.

Locate 'Restore a MySQL Database Backup'
Under the 'Restore a MySQL Database Backup' section on the right side of the page, click 'Choose File' and select your .sql or .sql.gz backup file from your computer.

Execute Database Upload
Click 'Upload'. cPanel will automatically import your tables and data directly into the active database.

Restore Home Directory Files
Under 'Restore a Home Directory Backup', click 'Choose File', select your backup-domain.com.tar.gz file, and click 'Upload'. All files will be unpacked into your home directory.
💡 Pro Tip: Ensure your database credentials in wp-config.php or your .env file match your current MySQL user and database name.
